Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a political contributor for CNN from 2017 to 2020. Psaki's career started in 2001, when she was working on behalf of the reelection campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrat for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed deputy press secretary to John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki also worked as director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was named press secretary for President Obama's election campaign. [20] Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. [20] Her hiring in the Department of State fueled speculation that she would succeed White House Press Secretary Jay Carney when he left the White House, on May 30 in 2014, it was announced that Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She returned to White House in 2015 to become the communications director. She remained with the Obama administration until its end.
